Last Sea Day of Week #1

Friday, March 6
When I got up and checked the bridge webcam on TV I saw a faint light shining on the waves. I quickly got dressed and went up on deck and had the double treat of seeing the full moon setting  AND a beautiful sunrise...at the same time! AND as an added bonus, there were a bunch of towel animals hanging out at the pool! I took a lot of photographs and was just getting ready to head back to the cabin when I met Bob coming up. He was feeling better so he walked/ran on the jogging track.

After breakfast at the buffet (eggs Benedict...yum!) we sat in the shade outside on the upper level and eventually J & K joined us. Around 11:30 we played a round of miniature golf...quite a feat in the strong winds.

Afternoon activities consisted of nap time, hot tub, and a Q & A session in the Ebony Lounge with the cruise director. After thinking cruise director, Dr. E. would be leaving the ship at the end of the cruise, we found out he was staying on one more week…Yay!! Good for us!
At dinner, the wait staff did one last song & dance during dessert and then we said good-bye to our waiters. The next week we would be doing "Any Time Dining" instead in the Golden Dining Room. Ram, the magician, stopped by our table for the THIRD time during the week. I think he knew how much I hate magicians and he came to our table just to bug me! He posed with me for a photo and then as he started to walk away, he said "I have a souvenir for you." He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out my camera case that he had somehow swiped off the table without any of us noticiing!!

Evening activities...karaoke, comedian, and listening to a little music. (The following week we made it a point to catch up on all of the shows we missed during the first week.) We said our good-byes to J & K, not thinking we would see them the next day before they got off the ship.

Coming up...week #2 to the Eastern Caribbean!
